Find a wildlife rehabilitator in your area

Who to contact:

If you find an animal that is obviously injured or orphaned, do not endanger the animal, yourself, or your family by trying to handle the animal.

Call one of the permitted rehabilitators listed below. If you are not located in one of the listed counties, contact the rehabber closest to you. You may also call the University of Tennessee Veterinary School or Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency for advice on who to contact.

Above all, do not attempt to feed the animal. Improper feeding techniques and improper diet can cause irreparable harm to the animal (and possibly death).
